Brushfilling Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brushfilling Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of brushfilling equipment to ensure optimal functioning and efficiency. They will also be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities :

Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and assign tasks as needed

Inspect and assess brushfilling equipment to identify any issues or potential problems

Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment

Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime

Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians

Monitor inventory of spare parts and equipment and reorder as needed

Train new maintenance technicians and ensure that all team members are up-to-date on safety protocols and best practices

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and regulations

Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and team productivity

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of brushfilling equipment

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

Previous experience in a supervisory role

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent

Additional certification or training in maintenance or a related field is preferred
