Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector position available in Somerset West.A renowned international Engineering company is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Helderberg Area, Cape Town.Excellent salary on offer plus benefits (subject to background and experiences) and internal career advancement opportunities.Position Requirements : Completed industrial / technical vocational training.Qualification in Engineering advantageous.Experience and good expertise in the field of quality assurance.Good knowledge of MS , SAP and TeamCenter.Knowledge of the DIN EN ISO , , , standards is desirable.Familiar with LEAN methodologies.Good works with 3D data and Drawings.A valid passport.Willing to go for training in Germany for a period of 2-3 months.Flexibility in terms of working hours / location.Good analytical skills with above-average problem-solving skills.Good written and spoken English skills.Independence, accuracy, diligence and flexibility.Ability to work in a team and deal with conflict.Strong and resilient against outer influence.Key Responsibilities : Improve and ask constantly for processes and process improvements.Conduct of CSi on siteplete acceptance of the shells and individual components.Inspection of painted parts.Inspection of the foiled parts.Inspection of FAIR documentation.Clarification of complaints with Engineering.Accompanying stage inspections (moulding, machining, bonding).Inspection and approval of rework + documentation (Mantis, Jira).Training of employees (production and quality).Status submission.
