IT Systems Engineer

A client is looking for a skilled and solutions-driven IT Systems Engineer to join their dynamic technology team. Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems to ensure performance reliability and security.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft and Linux servers and applications.
• Administer LAN infrastructure including switches and firewalls.
• Oversee WAN links and liaise with WAN partners; monitor usage and optimise connectivity.
• Implement and manage information security systems including endpoint protection and antivirus solutions.
• Manage VoIP devices and PABX systems.
• Maintain and update IT governance and compliance processes following ITIL standards with accurate documentation (network diagrams process flows etc.).
• Provide technical input during the design and transition of IT systems through the project lifecycle.
• Take full ownership of IT incident management processes.
