Position Overview :

The Careworker will be responsible for providing personal care and support services to our clients including the elderly disabled and those with special needs. This is a full-time permanent position with flexible hours and the opportunity for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing dressing and toileting
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and meal preparation
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals clients and their families
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Attend training and development programs as required

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a care or support role preferred but not required
  • Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check
