ROLE SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator’s main role is to support the marketing and trade marketing department with day-to-day marketing tasks and to coordinate marketing projects and activities. He / she will be closely involved in all communication activities from ATL to BTL, in all promotional and trade events and all brand related projects. The position reports to the Marketing Executive and collaborates with the product managers and the sales team. Possibility of growing into a Junior PM position, so product affinity (consumer durables) and analytical mindset are also important.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand & Communication :
- Develop creative solutions in promotional and point-of-sale material, catalogues and brochures
- Initiate, develop and manage brand and product promotions (trade, consumer and internal sales)
- Manage creative and communication agencies, support and follow up on marketing campaigns
- Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns, both traditional and digital
- Update and manage social media accounts and website together with the agency
- Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing
Marketing and Product Management :
Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial informationTrack competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitorsCreate marketing materials such as advertorials, white papers and presentationsConduct market research and analyse consumer complaintsUnderstand company brands and products, support product benchmarkingSupport product launches and product trainingsSupport sales with store display, POS roll-out, store activationsEvents and Showroom :
Manage agencies and support the organization of important trade shows and eventsAssist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their successManage and control marketing & merchandising material and showroom, support office managementGeneral Marketing Support
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities. Provide administrative support to the marketing teamAssist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.Manage and keep track of quotes, invoices, submit them for payment, follow upWork closely with sales and marketing departmentAssist with the effective management of the marketing budgetDESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field2-3 yrs industry experienceExperience in marketing, trade marketing and / or related fieldHigh competency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Digital marketing affinity, preferably some experience in google analytics and other digital toolsEffective written and verbal communication skillsA high level of attention to detailAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyStrong organizational skillsProactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work quickly and with accuracy to meet deadlinesEmpathy, and a genuine desire and passion to solve our customer’s problemsShow initiative, creativity, integrity and teamworkProject management and copywriting skills would be beneficial
