Job description
Requirements :
  • Grade 12
  • A relevant post-matric qualification, such as a Certificate in GMP, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Someone who is available immediately would be preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a production process leader, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of production safety regulations and best practices.
  • Knowledge of the production process and GMP regulations.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software used for inventory management and data entry
  • Experience in production planning, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) measurements, monitoring, and improvement strategies
  • Job Duties :

    • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and supervise the packing team to ensure smooth operations.

    • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with performance standards.
    • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
    • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
    • Production Oversight
    • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet production targets.
    • Monitor packing processes and equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Ensure adherence to production timelines, minimizing downtime and delays.
    • Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
    • Develop, document, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes.
    • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
    • Investigate and address quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
    • Work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain compliance with regulations.
    • Process Optimization
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
    • Analyze packing performance metrics and address inefficiencies.
    • Safety and Compliance
    • Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
    • Prepare and present reports on packing performance and improvements to management.
    • Customer Focus
    • Address customer feedback related to packaging.
    • Ensure packaging aligns with customer requirements and brand standards

      Basic of : R40 000 - R45 000
