MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure an efficient and professional pharmaceutical service is provided to the hospital and public
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Lead and manage the people in the department
- Manage pharmaceutical stock (own, loan and consignment)
- Manage and mitigate departmental risks
- Manage and control departmental budgets / finances
- Deliver a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service
- Provide an out-patient pharmacy service
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
B Pharm / BSc Pharm
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
3 years working as a pharmacist in a community or institutional / hospital pharmacy
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
3-5 years supervisory or managerial experience in an institutional / hospital pharmacy
