• A family is looking for an AU PAIR / TUTOR for their daughter in Grade 4 and son in Grade 10
• Area : Northview Country Estate
• Working hours : Monday - Friday : 06h30 - 07h30 as well as Monday - Thursday : 16h30 - 18h00, Friday : 15h30 - 18h00 and Saturday : 07h30 - 11h00
• School holiday hours : adhoc requirement and times / days will be indicated prior to the need and dependent on the families travel plans
• Duties : Dropping the children at school, collecting from school in the afternoons, main focus will be on the Grade 10 for tutoring and academic support in English, Afrikaans, Maths Core, Physics, Biology, Geography.
• Candidate will need to ensure that work has been completed, concepts have been grasped and ensure there was an understanding of the work that was done in the day. Assisting with any homework, test prep, projects and tutoring to ensure the children are on top of their work as well as transporting to and from extra murals.
• The eldest needs alot of guidance and help in study skills, study schedules and maintaining a steady study streak. Ensure the children eat healthy snacks and meals in the afternoons, ensure they pack their dishes into the dishwasher and clean up after themselves.
• Requirements : Mature, female candidate with tutoring experience would be ideal
• Start Date and contract term : ASAP start – permanent contract
• Salary : R12 000 per month (gross before deductions) plus petrol (R4.76 per km)
• All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements :
• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
