Job Description

Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for a Senior Frontend Angular Developer to join their team.

We are looking for a UI Front End Developer who will join the ATG toolchain domain. Responsibilities include :

  • Development of features in collaboration with external design and development partners in Munich.
  • Working in an integrated Agile environment.
  • Meet with end users and gather requirements (Refinements).
  • Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.
  • Review and present proposed system solutions to Business & IT Product Owners.
  • Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements and standards.
  • System testing, implementation, and audits / quality assurance.
  • Participate in regular Scrum meetings via MS Teams (Daily, Planning, Estimation, Refinement, Review, Retro).
  • Liaise with stakeholders and team members.
  • Support existing solutions and DevOps.

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Angular, HTML, Typescript, CSS.
  • Experience with Npm Package Manager, RXJS, REST, Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with build tools and pipelines, unit testing, and Git.
  • Experience with testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, Postman, Newman, Cypress, Selenium, Junit, Robot, Jest.

    • Advantageous Skills Requirements :

  • Experience with Confluence / Jira.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools.
  • UX Experience.
  • Familiarity with AZURE Cloud, Docker, Spring Boot, Open Shift, Quarkus.
  • DevOps and Build Tools (Angular CLI / Maven).
  • Knowledge of JQuery, Engineering Principles, Design patterns, Data structures, and Algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behavior in a distributed team.
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in conducting user research in foreign markets.
  • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
  • Ability and willingness to coach and train colleagues and users when required.
