The Role
The Hospitality Supervisor coordinates, prepares, plates, and serves nutritious meals that meet residents’ individual dietary needs. The role ensures smooth meal service across kitchen and dining areas, role‑models exceptional customer service, and works closely with Kitchen Coordinators, Hospitality Assistants, Carers, and other staff to create an enjoyable dining experience for Amana Living residents. Key duties also include regular food ordering, stocktaking, maintaining signing sheets, and keeping kitchens, serveries, and dining rooms clean and well maintained.
This is a permanent full‑time role working 76 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday 7 am – 3 pm.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of employees
Ensure that guests are receiving excellent service throughout their visit
Oversee daily operations, including monitoring cleanliness, and food and beverage service – breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon tea, supper
Monitor stock levels of supplies and materials, including linens, cleaning supplies, and food and beverage and order necessary items
Assist in budgeting and cost control, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and the facility operates within budget
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies, including health and safety, alcohol service, and employee conduct
Resolve operational or guest‑related issues promptly and professionally
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, checking serveries, dining rooms for any issues
Help with the organisation and coordination of events such as birthdays and other celebrations
Attend and actively participate in compulsory training sessions and meetings as required by the Service Manager
