Production Coordinator (Cape Town)

Are you an organised detail-driven professional with a passion for keeping complex projects on track Our Procurement Department is looking for a Production Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support and ensure seamless coordination between suppliers project managers and installation teams both locally and internationally.

This is a fast-paced hands-on role where precision initiative and professionalism are key.

Key Responsibilities

In this role youll :

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

Manage supplier records requests for quotations tenders and sourcing alternatives.

Coordinate manufacturing briefs track production progress and ensure quality control of items in manufacture.

Plan and support installation teams (local and international) including collation of installation kits and preparation of delivery schedules.

Oversee procurement and installation programs ensuring timelines are met.

Track orders from purchase through to delivery maintaining accurate master tracking documents.

Conduct weekly production inspections issue progress reports and manage snag resolutions with suppliers.

Support project managers with site visits supplier meetings media shoots and client handovers.

Ensure accuracy in documentation filing and reporting across all Procurement & Logistics projects.

What Were Looking For

Candidate must reside in Cape Town with a valid drivers license and own vehicle.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite .

High level of accuracy and attention to detail .

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.

Professional discreet and able to handle sensitive information with integrity.

Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to occasionally work additional hours including weekends when required.

Comfortable conducting site visits taking measurements and capturing high-quality progress photos.
