Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company\'s rapidly expanding co-lo and cloud infrastructure. They will work alongside other engineers to ensure the highest levels of performance and ability and manage any problems that arise.The job role will include but won\'t be limited to :Manage and monitor installed systemsTest and maintain operating systemsMonitor application performanceMonitor backup and replication statusTest and maintain disaster recovery plansThe job includes being part of a rotating after-hours support scheduleQualifications
Strong Active Directory management skillsExposure to VMware and virtual environmentsExperience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting systemsGPOs, DHCP, DNS, IIS, ExchangeSubstantial knowledge of backup solutions (such as Veeam)Strong scripting and technical skillsExposure to SQL environmentsHold a relevant university degree or diplomaSome form of related training to the experience fields listed aboveHave 3 years of professional experience with at least 1 year of dedicated server experienceNot-Technical Requirements

The initial role will comprise monitoring of service dashboards and escalation to tier 2 / 3 technicians, whilst in the onboarding phase.
