Role overview

As an Executive Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through exceptional customer experience, deep product knowledge, and a refined, consultative sales approach.

This is a high-performance role, requiring a blend of creative flair, business acumen, and relationship management. You will consistently exceed expectations, both in sales and in service delivery, building long-term customer loyalty and contributing meaningfully to the Weylandts brand vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience & Relationship Management :

Deliver a world‑class, personalised in‑store and post‑sale experience.

  • Anticipate customer needs and tailor solutions that reflect their lifestyle and our brand ethos.
  • Guide customers on product selection, care, space planning and styling.
  • Build lasting client relationships to maximise lifetime value.
  • Sales & Business Development :
  • Consistently meet & exceed individual sales targets.

  • Cash collected (Net of VAT), and discount target.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
  • Represent the Weylandts brand with professionalism and confidence.
  • Operational Excellence :
  • Independently manage the full sales process from initial prospecting and first contact, through needs analysis, sales quote, negotiation, closing, and post‑sale follow‑up.

  • Ensure excellence in all operational processes : sales orders, account management, stock management, SR management and studio referrals.
  • Mentor team members and share best practices.
  • Promote & champion the decorator / partner program.
  • Uphold showroom standards and ensure that all items are priced and displayed correctly.
  • Stay compliant with all required training in line with company policy.
  • What you bring

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Relevant diploma / degree in sales, business, or customer service is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of executive‑level sales experience in a premium retail, interiors or customer‑facing environment.
  • Previous experience in retail or client‑focused setting.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Technically inclined and comfortable learning and using multiple business systems and tools.
  • Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Passionate about décor and Weylandts furniture and homeware products.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle essential.
