Industrial Engineer - South Africa Job Summary Job title : Industrial Engineer (Parktown, Johannesburg) Main Purpose : To ensure that the business is operating as efficiently as possible with the most innovative and modern solutions. Key performance areas :

• Project Management o Manage projects across the business o Implementing agile and waterfall project methodologies oConduct project impact meetings with scorecards oDiagnose and solve bottlenecks in the projects
• Business Process Improvement oImplement principles to improve business processes oAct as an internal consultant / process expert for the various departments oIdentify business issues and conduct workshops around problem definition oInvestigate and measure the extent of the problem in each of the departments oSolve the problem using the most efficient method oMaintain and control the systems, where solutions have been implemented oRedesigning business processes to work as optimal as possible to save time and resources
• Data Analytics oBuilding and maintaining the company scorecards that track company and departmental goals with Power BI oConduct analysis, scenario planning and simulation through mathematical / management accounting models oPromote a culture of data driven decision making
• Innovation / research oFacilitating the workshop to provide the platform for engineers and data analysts to innovate and share ideas oAutomating business processes through RPA (Power Automate, Power Bi, Smartsheet Automation, chat bots) oData science through ML and AI oResearching what ideas related to technology and 4IR can be brought into the business Minimum Requirements :
• BEng Industrial Engineer / Business Process Engineer Education
• Competencies (Advantageous) oManagement Accounting Certification (high level financial understanding) oProject Management oLean Six Sigma
• 2 Years experience
• Data analysis systems (Power Bi)
• Project management tools (Smartsheet) Behavioural qualities :
