Job description

Lead engineering maintenance and project strategies to optimize asset availability and integrity.

Drive operational efficiency, compliance, and sustainable cost control for both mobile and fixed plant assets.

Oversee CAPEX projects exceeding R50 million, ensuring seamless execution from feasibility to commissioning.

Implement world-class reliability practice s , including RCM, RCA, condition monitoring, and predictive analytics.

Engage with regulators, unions, and OEMs while ensuring full compliance with MHSA, DMR, and SANS codes.

Lead shutdowns, emergency maintenance, and cost optimization initiatives.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential)

Government Certificate of Competency (GCC Mines & Works) (Essential)

Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)

15+ years' experience in chemical , metallurgical, heavy industrial plants, or mining.

8+ years' senior leadership experience in maintenance or engineering environments.

Proven success in capital project execution and asset reliability management.

MBA, MBL, or Postgraduate Qualification in Engineering / Operations Management will be advantageous.
