Job description

Background :

Our Client who is in the Financial Services sector is looking for a driven Sales Director to lead teams and grow business in a competive market

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelors Degree in Business Finance Economics or related field (MBA preferred)
Minimum of 10 years experience in sales with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services or related industries
Proven track record in multi-line financial services sales including credit insurance bonding and investment products
Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and business plans
In-depth understanding of the South African financial services market and regulatory landscape

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy across all business lines (credit insurance guarantees and bonding credit management platform debt collections top-up and gap cover and investment solutions)

Lead mentor and manage the Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets for each business line

Identify and pursue new business opportunities expanding the companys Client base

Build and maintain strong relationships with key Clients industry Stakeholders and strategic Partners

Monitor market trends competitor activity and client needs to continuously refine sales approaches and product offerings

Collaborate closely with Marketing Operations Underwriting and Product teams to ensure alignment and maximize commercial impact

Prepare regular sales forecasts performance reports and presentations for senior management

Drive a culture of accountability high performance and continuous improvement within the sales function
