New contracting role available - 12 Month contract for Senior Business Analyst with Banking / Financial Services experience to join the BI / Data Analysis Team

Location : Sandton
Duration : 6 months
Rate : R700 R800 per hour
Start Date : January 2026
Interview Process : Virtual (end of week)

Key Responsibilities

Drive data analytics and engineering initiatives within credit-related projects.

Resolve production issues and support business analysis requirements.

Implement ETL processes and maintain data integrity across platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile

Education : Relevant qualification in Data Engineering or Information Systems.

Experience :

7+ years in data engineering and analytics within financial services.

Strong exposure to credit space and regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills :

ETL, MSSQL Reporting, Data Warehousing, Oracle, SAP Business Objects.

Power BI and advanced data visualization tools.

Other : Proven experience in project management within complex financial environments.
