Enrolled Nurse ICU (High Care)

Requirements : Matric

Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse

Proven experience as an Enrolled Nurse

Shift work compulsory

Understand basic IPC practices

Key outputs :

Work within scope of practice

Adhere to hospital policies, protocols and best practices

Knowledge and insight into infection prevention principles

Promote and maintain patient health and give health education

Strong quality patient care orientation

BLS competent

Accompany Doctors on ward rounds

High energy levels and tolerance for stress / pressure

Identify risks and identify incident policies

Adaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
