Operations Manager
Location : Milnerton, Cape Town
Salary : R to R a month + Petrol + Cell phone

As the Operations Manager, you will ensure the organization operates at peak efficiency, delivering a seamless service that exceeds customer and client expectations. Your role involves overseeing daily operations, analysing data, preparing reports, collaborating closely with team members, engaging with managers across departments, presenting insights to stakeholders and senior management, and providing training and supervision to new staff.
Additionally, you will track and evaluate staff performance, maintaining high standards across the organization.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven work experience as operations manager
- Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
- Budget development and oversight experience
- HR / IR (Unions / CCMA / Disciplinary Hearings)
- Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Leadership and organisational skills
- Planning – staying ahead of the game and ensuring that plans for the future are clearly labelled out for everyone to follow
- Problem Solving – adapting to the ever‑changing environment and reacting quickly to meet challenges
- Attention to Detail, Organisation Skills, Superior Computer and Typing Skills, Data Entry
- Good Verbal Communication with Employees
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Honest, Record‑Keeping Skills, Follows Instructions Well

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensuring that all operations are conducted in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirementsImproving operational management systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organisational well‑beingPlanning and controlling change, managing quality assurance programmesResearching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency; audit report tools to be utilised in order to measure effectiveness of the relevant sites performanceSupervise and coach supervisors regularly; ensure warehouse efficiencyContribute towards the achievement of clients & company's strategic and operational objectivesMonitor employee KPI's; cater to clients' or personnel's concernsEnsuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvementSupport the client in planning and making sure the business is adequately resourcedTraining of staff and managers to ensure that everyone is performing adequately in their roleProviding a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve productivity goalsImprove the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organisation's missionManage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functionsPlay a significant role in long‑term planning, including an initiative geared towards operational excellenceIdentifying any skills gaps in the organisation and recommending a recruitment programme to support thisActing as a liaison to senior management and directors to keep them up to date with shop floor mattersSetting and reviewing budgets and managing cost#J-18808-Ljbffr
