Position : Medical Receptionist

Location : Greenacres Hospital, Port Elizabeth

Working Hours : Monday Friday | 08 : 00 17 : 00

No weekends required

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient bookings and front desk reception
• Capture and maintain accurate patient information and data
• Operate the switchboard and handle incoming / outgoing calls
• Write and issue receipts for patient payments
• Obtain authorisations from medical aids
• Handle general practice administration, correspondence, and queries
• Respond to daily e-mails and patient enquiries promptly
• Book theatre appointments and maintain scheduling accuracy
• Maintain a clean and neat practice environment ahead of consultation days
• Change towels and linen regularly in line with hygiene standards
