Job descriptionTechnical Background : A solid understanding of civil engineering products, materials, or services. Internal Sales or Customer Service Experience : At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the engineering, construction, or manufacturing industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A proactive attitude with a customer-focused mindset. A qualification or experience in Civil Engineering, Technical Sales, or related field is an advantage. Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or order processing is preferred.

Job Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Support professional to join a well-established Civil Engineering company. The ideal candidate will have a technical engineering background and experience in internal sales or customer service. This role focuses primarily on processing orders, generating quotations, and following up on quotations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process customer orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Prepare and issue quotations based on customer requirements and product specifications.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations and provide feedback to customers on the status of their orders.
- Liaise with the sales team, technical department, and suppliers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, quotations, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Address customer queries and provide assistance regarding products, pricing, and technical specifications.
- Assist in ensuring that sales targets and KPIs are met.
- Provide support to the internal sales team and assist with administrative tasks as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
