The Career Network SaSouth AfricaClient Compliance AdministratorLocation : Office-based (Southern Suburbs)| Industry : Financial Services / Investments | Type : Full-timeOverview : We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Client Compliance Administrator to join our compliance team.
This role is critical in ensuring adherence to the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) and related anti-money laundering (AML) regulations across our client portfolio.
The successful candidate will support a wide range of compliance activities including client onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, and records management in alignment with internal risk and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities : 1.
Daily Compliance OperationsFacilitate onboarding of clients, introducers, management companies, and service providersMaintain up-to-date records and information for all onboarding entitiesRespond to client compliance queries and vetting requestsExecute offboarding and client exit procedures2.
Monitoring & Regulatory ComplianceConduct regular FICA compliance updates based on risk ratings and AML compliance programsMonitor Section 14 Transfer Replacement Policy Advice Record formsOversee archived client terminations and ensure accurate historical recordkeepingMaintain and organise internal FICA documentation3.
Project SupportAssist with the implementation and execution of new and ongoing compliance projectsCollaborate across teams to ensure compliance goals are met within set timelines4.
Ongoing Administrative MaintenanceRegularly update process manuals and client compliance checklistsMaintain signatory lists and supporting FICA documentationQualifications & Experience : Certificate in Compliance Management or AML / FICA Compliance (advantageous)Minimum of 3 years' experience in a compliance, regulatory, or administrative roleProven experience within a regulated financial services environmentSound knowledge of FICA and relevant regulatory requirementsKey Competencies : Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and organisational capabilitiesAnalytical thinker with sound judgmentUpholds confidentiality and demonstrates integrityProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with AML or compliance systems is a plus
