Overview
Primary objective of the role is to support the Finance Manager by performing the monthly operational processes in the Finance team, specifically regarding accurate capturing of actuals, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, application of the control framework, ledger close off, management account preparation and tax compliance status tracking. Additionally, the role is responsible for ad hoc project work on a recurring basis.
Responsibilities
Capture the actuals for the month from the relevant reports or supporting documents
Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing key inputs and analysis to the Finance Manager as required.
Work with auditors to provide necessary information and resolve any audit-related issues.
Cash flow planning and analysis for entity dividends payouts
Assist with maintaining relationships with studio accounting teams
Follow up on the tax compliance tracker and to check the relevant entities have filed or paid their taxes as per the timeline in the tracker. Prepare tax calculations or estimations for the entities for group reporting purposes.
