Job descriptionSupply the Manager with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services and performance Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant procedures and instructions Clear understanding and adherence to company and client policies and procedures Discuss comebacks with subordinates to identify any training needs and / or poor work performance Review and monitor overtime to ensure that the maximum hours are not exceeded Must have at least N3 or Qualified Artisan Supervisory qualification will be advantageous Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory designation At least 5 years post trade experience Previous experience on crushing and screening machinery in an open cast mining environment Candidates must have a valid drivers license Sound verbal and written communication in English Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required from the designated mines Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Attention to detail will assist in compliance with OEM standards
Responsibility : Production :
- Match performance of the operators to production to ensure full capacity
- Assess operator performance daily
