The Intermediate Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for analysing documenting and facilitating business and system requirements across Amrods core business applications. This role supports the successful delivery of projects and change initiatives by ensuring clarity and alignment between business stakeholders developers and testers.
The Intermediate BSA works closely with Product Owners Developers Testers and Project Managers to translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements user stories and process flows. The role plays a key part in the SDLC by supporting solution design requirement validation and UAT coordination.
Responsibilities
- Clear validated BRDs user stories and process flows
- Stakeholder needs clearly captured and prioritised
- Documentation is complete structured and up to date
- Stories are clear sized and ready for development
- Requirements translated into working solutions
- UAT test cases defined; issues tracked and resolved
- Full lifecycle visibility from concept to deployment
- Recommendations made and logged for consideration
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Industrial Engineering or related fieldCertification in Business Analysis (e.g. ECBA CCBA) or Agile Product Ownership is advantageousAgile and SDLC methodology knowledge required35 years experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in an IT or business systems environmentProven ability to gather analyse and document detailed business and functional requirementsExperience working in Agile delivery teams writing user stories and acceptance criteriaProficiency in Jira Confluence or similar tools for documentation and backlog managementAbility to facilitate workshops stakeholder interviews and process mapping sessionsUnderstanding of system integration principles and data flow mapping is advantageousExcellent communication skills and attention to detailRequired Skills
Diploma or Certificate in Software Testing Graphic Design Computer Science or related field. - ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification (advantageous). - Coding in JavaScript or NodeJS (advantageous) - Training or exposure in Pitstop Pro Enfocus Switch or CorelDRAW beneficial but not required (on-the-job learning provided). - Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop InDesign) advantageous Exposure to PDF ToolboxKey Skills
