Job Overview

We are looking for a Systems Engineer that can perform operating system and Ansible Automation Platform lifecycle management. You will need to perform housekeeping / monitoring / managing of the Ansible Automation Platform focusing on stability / performance as well as cost optimization.

This is a long-term fixed contract of 3-years (Renewable & Ongoing) working on a Hybrid model.

Responsibilities

Create, manage and operate IaC with Terraform
Perform operating system and Ansible Automation Platform lifecycle management
Interact with Enterprise GitHub for version control and Git branching strategy
Track and update Jira user stories to ensure due dates are met
Assist to ensure stability of systems and adherence of the team to the Group’s Operations standards.
Ensure quality and up to date content of the knowledge base for the sub-product
Ensure quality and up to date content of the Sub-Product and compliance required documentation
Perform housekeeping / monitoring / managing of the Ansible Automation Platform focusing on stability / performance as well as cost optimization.
Manage Problem, Incident and Change process for dedicated ITSM service
Willing to do standby and work on weekends if needed
Keep documentation up to date in all relevant systems (e.g. as is configuration CMDB / Application Instance Wizard, to be configuration Connect IT, knowledge database resolveIT)
Attend and moderate operation meetings
Manage security vulnerabilities

Qualifications / Experience

Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience

Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform (or Ansible Tower / AWX)

Experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES)

Experience with coding and scripting (Bash, PowerShell etc) (Advantageous)

Experience with Cloud Technologies ( AWS, Azure )

Experience with Red Hat Satellite (Advantageous)

Any Linux certification such as RHCSA (Advantageous)

ITIL certification (Advantageous)

Minimum of 2 years of configuration management and automation experience

Minimum of 2 years of ITIL work experience

Minimum of 2 years of Scrum work experience

Minimum of 2 years of operating system administration work experience

Minimum Skills

Knowledge of Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket / GitHub

Knowledge of Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform / Ansible Tower

Basic knowledge of framework Agile Working Model

Basic knowledge of Virtualisation technologies such as VMWare

Basic knowledge of Private Cloud solutions

Basic knowledge of Windows Server

Basic knowledge of Dynatrace

Basic knowledge of Splunk

Basic knowledge of containerization technologies such as podman, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift

Basic knowledge of Directory Access Manager (DIVA)

Basic knowledge of Intelligent Storage Orchestration Environment (iStore) and Active Directory Gruppentool (ADGR)

Basic knowledge of ITIL and ITSM such as Problem-Incident-Change processes

Basic knowledge of ITSM Suite

Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Additional Skills
