Job descriptionTeach Mathematical Literacy (Grades 10–12) within the IEB curriculum Create and deliver engaging lessons that connect math to real‑life applications and entrepreneurial thinking Prepare learners thoroughly for the IEB final examinations Foster critical numeracy, financial literacy, and problem‑solving skills Use innovative methods and tools to make abstract concepts accessible and relevant Support learners with diverse needs in a nurturing and disciplined environment Collaborate with a forward‑thinking academic team Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and coaching Bachelor’s degree in Education with FET phase specialization – non‑negotiable Permanent SACE registration (with valid certification) – non‑negotiable 3+ years of teaching experience in the FET phase (preferably in an IEB context) Strong understanding of IEB assessment standards and curriculum planning Passionate about helping learners apply math to real‑world and entrepreneurial scenarios Comfortable working in a small, high‑impact, innovation‑driven school environment A deliberately small, calm, purpose‑driven school environment with meaningful learner‑teacher relationships Be part of a pioneering educational model focused on future‑ready skills Ongoing mentorship and training in both entrepreneurship and education A chance to combine academic teaching with innovation and purpose A collaborative, supportive team that values continuous improvement

About the role : FET Mathematical Literacy Teacher (Grades 10–12)
As our high school Math Literacy educator , you’ll help learners build a practical understanding of mathematics and how it applies to everyday life, business, and entrepreneurial contexts. You will play a key role in preparing learners for real‑world financial and data‑driven decision‑making.
