Reference Number : 025-0403KVJob Description : Our client is seeking a SHEQ Coordinator who will be responsible for putting appropriate safety controls in place and providing advice on accident prevention and occupational health to Management and employees. Assist the SHEQS Manager in coordinating, implementing, and controlling the SHEQ Management System. Ensure that SHEQ Management System (ISO45001, ISO14001 & ISO9001) is fully implemented and permanently updated in the Subsidiary and satellite sites. Assist with the management of Security and Clinic Services in conjunction with the SHEQS Manager.Responsibilities : Develop, execute, and follow up on the Annual Prevention Plan, ensuring compliance with SHEQ regulations, safety audits, and incident investigations. Coordinate training, safety meetings, and certifications (ISO 45001), promoting best practices.Ensure compliance with legislation by managing the Corporate Global Management System, conducting inspections, monitoring PPE use, and ensuring emergency plans and evacuation exercises are in place.Foster a safety culture through training, toolbox talks, and promoting safety across employees, contractors, and Safety Reps. Lead risk assessments, coordinate SHEQ audits, and collaborate with the SHEQS Manager.Identify, evaluate, and update environmental aspects and legal requirements, ensuring compliance. Lead communication with stakeholders and ensure the SHEQ Management System addresses environmental impacts.Develop procedures, monitor non-conformities, and propose corrective actions. Conduct audits, report environmental incidents, and supervise controls for water, air emissions, and waste management.Promote environmental awareness, train employees, manage waste disposal, and ensure ISO 14001 compliance. Work with contractors and service providers to minimize environmental impacts.Ensure compliance with Corporate SHEQ Policies, conduct audits, and follow up on corrective actions. Implement the 5S system, propose training programs, and maintain ISO 9001 certification.Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans, ensuring alignment with Corporate CE Specifications for raw materials, packaging, and final products. Ensure adherence to test methods and work instructions.Investigate quality incidents and customer complaints, communicate corrective actions, and ensure the SHEQ management system complies with legislation. Update procedures, analyze data, and monitor trends for continuous improvement.Requirements : Qualification and Skill Matric Certificate and Diploma / Certificate in Safety Management and / or Environmental Science / TQM / Chemistry is required.Minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in the SHEQ Management System and in environmental activities, waste management, emissions treatment, and environmental risk control.Thorough knowledge of relevant local safety, health, environment and security legislation and Extensive ISO knowledge.Problem Solving, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution skills. Fluent in English.
