FORKLIFT DRIVERS

What Will You Do

• Ensure that the forklift is in good working condition by completing the checklist before operating the machine(FMX).

• Report damages or faults to the Forklift to Warehouse Manager

• Ensure correct stock is picked and loaded by checking quantity, quality, description, manufacturing date and best before date.

• Count and record the number of pallets loaded

• Ensure pallets at the pallet area are sorted by colour code and in a safe manner(5S)

• Loads of finished goods, raw material and packaging.

• Offloading of delivery trucks, checking paperwork vs stock on truck, use foods connect device to record material and batch numbers.

• Clear understanding of FIFO, FEFO, binning and 5S.

• Transfers finished goods to allocated space in warehouse

• Moves product to correct allocation during change overs

• Transfers products to bays and checks that they are allocated to correct bays

• Removes damaged boxes and repacks pallet
