Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive business development and customer engagement for our commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions in South Africa. This role focuses on identifying new clients, building strategic partnerships, and supporting pre-sales activities to expand our footprint in the South African energy market.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development : Identify and engage potential commercial & industrial clients for energy storage solutions, including industrial facilities, commercial businesses, and renewable energy projects.
  • Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with local installers, EPC contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers in the energy sector.
  • Pre-Sales Support : Provide technical and commercial guidance to clients, including system design, feasibility analysis, and proposal development.
  • Market Intelligence : Monitor South Africa’s electricity market trends, pricing policies, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities.
  • Product Promotion : Effectively communicate the value proposition of our C&I energy storage solutions through presentations, meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Technical Background : Solid understanding of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and power electronics .
  • Market Expertise : In-depth knowledge of the South African electricity landscape , including current electricity pricing structures , market dynamics, the regulatory environment, and future energy trends .
  • Local Network : Possesses an established network of key local stakeholders within the South African market, including C&I installers, EPC contractors, and distributors .
  • Core Responsibilities : Leverage technical knowledge, market insights, and local relationships to effectively promote and drive the adoption of our company\'s C&I solar products and solutions in South Africa.
  • Personal Attributes : Demonstrates strong learning agility to quickly grasp new technologies and market shifts, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate value propositions persuasively.
