Finance Manager
My client, a leading player in transport and logistics, is looking for a skilled and capable Finance Manager in Pinetown to take lead and oversee all financial obligations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties :
- Manage and maintain financial reporting systems
- Manage and maintain information systems
- Preparation and co-ordination of budgets
- Maintain effective financial controls
- Maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Monthly management accounts
- Reporting (Monthly, quarterly)
- IFRS
- Manage subordinates
- Conduct audits (both planned and unplanned)
- Implement and manage Policies and Procedures
- Profitability analysis
- Full Financial Function
- Training and development of subordinates
Desired Experience & Qualification
Educational Requirements :
BComm Finance (Accounting Specialization)Honours (Would be advantageous)Experience :
Extensive general Management Accounting experience, incorporating the full spectrum of Accounting Administration5 years management experience (non-negotiable)Preference will be given to applicants with freight / bus / general transport experiential backgroundAdvanced Excel skills which includes as minimum functions such as Macros, File Links, Pivot Tables, Data tablesPackage & Remuneration
