About the Role

WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a leading global consulting group to recruit an entrepreneurial and finance-savvy Sales Director. This player‑coach role is ideal for someone who thrives in high‑performance environments, enjoys building teams, and loves closing complex enterprise deals. The successful candidate will oversee a growing sales team while personally driving revenue across markets including South Africa, Australia, and the UK.

Location : Hybrid – Johannesburg

Employment Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue growth strategy and execution across SA, AUS, and UK markets
  • Personally manage full‑cycle sales from prospecting to closing enterprise‑level deals
  • Recruit, mentor, and drive performance across a high‑performing sales team
  • Implement scalable sales frameworks and KPIs to support business growth
  • Align closely with marketing and product teams for go‑to‑market alignment
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting
  • Represent the company at industry events and client‑facing engagements

What You’ll Bring

  • BCom, Accounting, Economics, or CA(SA) qualification (essential)
  • 5–8+ years in enterprise sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to close multi‑stakeholder, high‑value deals with CFO‑level clients
  • Financial and commercial acumen with ability to articulate ROI and business value
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team coaching capabilities
  • High energy, proactive mindset, and strong CRM discipline
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial consulting, tax incentives, or SaaS sales
  • Global sales exposure or working across cross‑border teams
  • Track record of scaling sales teams in high‑growth businesses
