Job descriptionGood field instrumentation equipment knowledge is required a process understanding Advanced computer skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft’s products Good working knowledge of PLC’s and SCADA Ability to read P&ID’s Risk Management skills Understanding of relevant technology for improvement Industrial network knowledge Good knowledge of local area and wide area ethernet networks with fiber Editing and fault-finding on Schneider PLC’s with Unity Pro and PL7 programming software Editing and fault-finding on selected systems (e.g., Adroit Scada, Schneider HMI’s) Budget control N6 / S4 / T3 Electronic light current diploma in Instrumentation or Diploma in Instrumentation and Process Control Instrumentation Trade Certificate will be advantageous when T3 or T4 diploma is obtained. Passed area specific systems training modules for role within the organisation Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role Ability to communicate with people on different levels. Computer literate Valid driver’s licence Own Transport as position requires standby Valid certificate of physical fitness for underground work. Engineering / Technical jobs
