The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, compliance, and ongoing financial analysis, while partnering closely with operational leaders to drive performance and financial stability.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting and management accounts
- Support the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements
- Prepare quarterly and year-end reporting packs in accordance with IFRS
- Manage corporate income tax, provisional tax calculations, and related statutory submissions
- Support audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit matters
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and oversee provision assessments
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Partner with business leaders to develop financial plans and performance targets
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and profitability trends
- Provide financial dashboards and presentations to senior leadership
- Monitor cash flow and support working capital management
- Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement
- Drive efficiencies and seek opportunities for automation and process enhancement
Business Partnering
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand key business drivers
- Provide financial insight to support strategic initiatives and projects
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation
Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role
- Strong experience in financial reporting and tax
- Recent exposure to preparing or reviewing annual financial statements
- Advanced MS Excel (including modelling and scenario planning)
- Experience operating in a high-volume transaction environment
Industry exposure within manufacturing, , industrial or shared services environments will be advantageous.
