Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP / QM Data Migration Expert to join a large-scale, long-term pharmaceutical transformation program.
This role is heavily focused on data migration ownership—designing methodology, leading data governance, and ensuring high-quality data deployment across multiple waves / releases.
You will act as the Data Owner for defined SAP PP / QM data objects and serve as the primary point of contact for all data-related topics within Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data migration activities for SAP PP / QM data objects within a global pharma environment.
- Define and refine the data migration strategy, methodology, templates, and governance for ongoing deployments.
- Own the data plan and quality of migrated data for assigned objects—ensure readiness through multiple project cycles.
- Work closely with functional PP / QM teams, business SMEs, and technical migration teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Drive data cleansing, validation, transformation, mapping, load cycles, and cutover readiness.
- Conduct data review and sign-off processes, ensuring compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data migration and expedite escalation as needed.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and external vendors / service providers.
- Report progress to program leadership with clear, concise status updates.
Required Experience
7+ years total experience, with 3+ years dedicated to SAP data migration (specifically in PP / QM objects).Hands‑on experience with SAP PP / QM master and transactional data objects (e.g., BOM, routing, materials, inspection lots, quality plans, etc.).Proven experience leading data migration cycles in a global deployment or S / 4HANA transformation program.Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, validation rules, and migration methodologies (LSMW / BODS / Syniti / MDG experience is a plus).Ability to work collaboratively across multi‑vendor environments.Soft Skills (Must‑Have)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead discussions with business and technical teams.Structured, proactive, and able to work independently as the "go-to" person for data.Industry Requirement
Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.Experience working in a regulated environment (GxP, CSV compliance) preferred.What We Offer
