Electronics (Operator / MST / Junior Engineer

Job descriptionDiagnose and repair failed electronic parts during shift Maintain logs of repaired items and components Conduct machine health checks during PM schedules or job changeovers Report and address any early signs of component wear or system issues Ensure required electronic spares are stocked and well-organized in the store Quickly retrieve parts during breakdowns to reduce downtime Maintain a clean and organized work area as per 5S methodology Regularly check update spares / tools layout for operational readiness Communicate with the Shift In-Charge and cross-functional teams Share observations, delays, and repair actions for accurate shift handover Production team Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance teams Shift In-Charges and Line Supervisors Occasional vendor or OEM coordination for critical electronic components or service assistance ITI in Electronics or Diploma in Electronics Engineering 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in electronics maintenance within a packaging, printing, or manufacturing setup Experience with sensors, control circuits, PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems is preferred Strong troubleshooting ability in industrial electronics Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and control logic Familiar with machine interface devices and process automation Well-versed in maintenance best practices and 5S implementation Proactive, responsive, and able to work under pressure Reliable and a good communicator within a team environment
To ensure consistent performance and uptime of electronics-based equipment through proactive machine health checks, timely repair of electronic components, and maintenance of a clean, organized work area in line with 5S standards. The role also supports efficient breakdown handling and spare management for uninterrupted production.
