Responsibilities

Installation, configuration, maintenance, customization and upgrades of z / linux environments.
Communicate the business impact of major incidents.
Diagnose z / Linux system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
Providing support for z / linux operating system.
Prioritize major incidents based on business impact to the client.
Provide assistance with identifying problem management trends.

Requirements

Experience

5+ years’ experience in z / linux system programming.

Experience working on JCL, REXX.

Experience in working with z / linux subsystems (CICS, IMS, MVS, DB2, MQ, JES).

Working knowledge of z / OS, z / VM. Unix System Services, SMP / E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party products.

Experience in mainframe storage solutions and database technologies including ISAM, VSAM, IMS, DB2.

5+ years working experience in System Programming z / OS and z / VM IBM Mainframe systems with

management responsibilities on relevant Large Enterprise class server in a large corporate or public sector.

Experience in the implantation of ICT solutions specifically within the relevant large enterprise class server

environment
