FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking Data Analysts to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend to a permanent position based in Johannesburg.

Requirements :

• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and experience in translating business problems into data-driven solutions, including handling large datasets, data validation, and statistical analysis
• Understanding of big data analysis and programming tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, AI
• An understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management, including governance requirements
• An understanding of the financial services industry
• Proficiency in SQL
• Bachelor’s degree grade 60% or above in any discipline
• Eligibility to work in South Africa
• English level B2 or higher
• Career coaching and access to upskilling throughout your entire FDM career
• Initial upskilling pre-assignment that has been accredited by TechSkills
• Assignments with global companies and opportunities to work abroad
• Opportunity to obtain certifications from Microsoft, Salesforce, Cisco and more
