Pretoria-based Online ESL Teacher - Remote Teaching Position

Teach English to young learners in Asia from your home studio in Pretoria, South Africa. This part-time position offers $6 / hour ($240-$715 monthly) with consistent afternoon hours (12PM-4PM SAST, Monday-Sunday). Perfect for energetic South African educators skilled in TPR teaching methods who excel at engaging children through dynamic, camera-friendly instruction.

Responsibilities

Teach English to children in Asia using TPR methods
Maintain consistent teaching schedule (minimum 40 hours monthly)
Create engaging, high-energy online learning experiences
Build rapport with young learners through camera presence

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification (diploma or degree)

Accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, or CELTA certification

2 years of online English teaching experience

Computer literacy

Clean criminal record

Clear, neutral English accent

Technical Requirements

PC : Intel Core i5 or better (2 Cores, 4 CPUs) with 8GB+ RAM

Internet : 20+ Mbps fiber connection via LAN cable

Equipment : HD webcam and noise-canceling headset
