Hospitalist NP / PA

Department : Hospital Medicine

Schedule : Full-Time (7 On / 7 Off)

Position Summary :

The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant provides high-quality inpatient care to adult patients within our hospital setting. This provider plays a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

This full-time position follows a 7 on / 7 off schedule, offering an excellent work–life balance in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform inpatient evaluations, daily rounding, and management of hospitalized patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with attending physicians and the care team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document all patient encounters according to hospital and regulatory standards
• Communicate with patients and families regarding diagnoses, plans of care, and discharge instructions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established protocols
