Financial Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. Requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles and bookkeeping experience. May include any or all of the following : ledgers and preparation of journal entries, fixed assets, preparation of trial balance or management reporting pack, bank account reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements.
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and tax laws.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Support management in financial decision-making by providing insights and analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a must

Proven 2 – 5 years’ experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.

Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Pastel) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
