KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
Transportation Coordination : Organizing and overseeing the movement of goods, including selecting appropriate modes of transport, scheduling deliveries, and tracking shipments.Route Optimization : Utilizing software and data analysis to find the most efficient and cost-effective routes for transportation.Inventory Management : Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.Data Analysis and Reporting : Collecting and analysing data related to logistics operations, preparing reports for management, and identifying areas for improvement.Relationship Management : Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.Problem Solving : Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the transportation process, such as delays, damage, or discrepancies.Compliance : Ensuring all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.Closing Date
