Job descriptionResponsible for engineering integrity, and measurement and maximum focus on item / product delivery, with guidance Critical decision making Understanding the process flow of production in order to mitigate incorrect decisions Understand the holistic product development life cycle from inception to production to assist in decision making process Planning, organizing and prioritizing workflow Ensuring on time delivery of engineering function of the production process Ensure time is managed well to mitigate any delay within engineering function Work towards project specific timelines Technical engineering Create 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing purposes Any other reasonable request from management including particular projects as and when needed
Our client, a / leader in the packaging and Printing industry is seeking a highly experienced Design Engineer to join theiir team based in Durban.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Mechanical Engineer Diploma or Degree
- 3-5 Years experience in manufacturing with divers knowledge of processes
- 1-2 Years industry experience
- 3D CAD
- CREO Advantageous
