Education, Skills and Experience :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Informatics, or a related ICT field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is an advantage.
- PMP certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum 6 years of project management experience, including at least 4 years in broad-based information systems, business projects, and / or ICT business solutions implementation.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
- Business analysis experience is preferred.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to organise, delegate, and leverage resources to accomplish objectives.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Financial and accounting project management experience.
- Strong communication skills, personal credibility, teamwork, collaboration, work planning, and estimation capabilities.
- Strategic skills, including business diagnosis, assessment, and business case development.
- Supervisory experience with the ability to leverage support across the organisation.
- Experience managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure project teams follow all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions.
Key Responsibilities / Key Performance Areas :
Manage organisational projects, ensuring visibility across all project management knowledge areas, project stages, and associated deliverables.Develop business cases for identified project concepts, including cost / benefit analysis.Create project charters and establish high-level roadmaps to deliver project vision, outputs, outcomes, and benefits.Define Statements of Work and Specifications for requested goods and services.Develop detailed project plans using approved project management methodologies and processes.Drive project performance, actively manage work streams, and resolve quality or design issues.Manage project constraints to ensure quality delivery on time and within budget.Integrate various project design components (process, people, technology).Apply project, change, and business analysis methodologies effectively throughout the project lifecycle.Empower stakeholders with project information to support informed decision-making at Steering Committee levels.Serve as the single point of focus for project issues, governance, risk escalation, and alternative options.Monitor, control, and communicate project progress using standard reporting tools.Establish mechanisms to assess the realisation of project benefits.Lead project teams, review and quality assure work, and coordinate steering committee activities.Engage with multiple and diverse stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful delivery.Understand interdependencies between business processes, technology, operations, and business needs.Manage external service providers, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to contracts.Develop, maintain, and obtain approval for project budgets, ensuring data accuracy.Perform project close-out activities and ensure compliance with project management standards, SDLC, change management, and business analysis processes.
