Position : Leisure Travel Consultant
Location : La Lucia, Durban
Job Summary : Leisure Travel Consultants are responsible for providing exceptional service and expert advise to travellers, creating bespoke travel itineraries and booking all components of their trips. They are also responsible for achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall profitability of the business. If you have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure then this is the ideal role for you.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Matric
- Diploma or Certificate in Travel and Tourism would be advantageous
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales or travel sales
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of the Amadeus system would be advantageous
- Proficient in use of reservation systems
- Passion for travel and knowledge of popular travel destinations
- Must be open to working weekends and public holidays
