POSITION INFO : Job Overview :

A reputable Insurance company is seeking a Personal Lines Sales Consultant to join their team in Bedfordview. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, the primary responsibilities include handling quoting, negotiations with brokers, validating client details, maintaining efficient processes, achieving sales targets, and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Personal Lines quoting
• Communicating and negotiating rates and premiums with brokers
• Evaluating and validating client's loss ratio and credit history
• Sending policy confirmations
• Ensure adherence to underwriting criteria
• Attaining individual and departmental sales targets
• Liaising with Broker Consultants
• Setting targets with brokers
• Dealing with technical issues

Qualifications : RE 5, Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Matric. Required Skills : Ms Office, TIAL Operating System, knowledge of insurance policy wordings, strong communication abilities, bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans, conflict resolution skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail.
