The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus  is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies department for the following lecturing roles :

  • Competing Models of Political Economy
  • War, Peace, and International Security

Job Purpose :

The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation / lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

    • Minimum Qualification Requirements :

    Ideal :

  • Master’s qualification in International or Political Studies.

    • Alternatively :

  • An Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in International or Political Studies.

    • Minimum Work Experience Requirements :

  • It would be preferable if the following additional competencies are fulfilled : Industry experience in commerce.
  • Lecturing experience : Two years in the discipline of Political Studies.
  • Work experience ideally in one or other field related to political analysis, political consultancy, public policy and / or political engagement management, political writing.
