Job Title : Head of Department (HOD) - Physics

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head of Department (HOD) for Physics to join one of the top schools in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker with 3-4 years of relevant teaching experience in the education industry. The HOD will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, managing the department, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement the Physics curriculum.
• Lead and manage the Physics department.
• Provide guidance and support to Physics teachers.
• Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Diploma in Education, QTS, or an active teaching license.

Minimum of 4-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an American or British curriculum.

Previous leadership or management experience as Head of Subject or similar role.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Native English speaker.

UAE experience is an advantage.
