This role is responsible for preparing financial statements, driving internal reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and leading the annual external audit process. You will also play a key role in supporting the organisations budgeting, forecasting, and performance management activities.
The ideal candidate is not only technically strong but also able to operate at an operational level, comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and thriving in a fast-paced sales-driven environment. You should be adaptable, able to pivot quickly between urgent tasks, and remain focused under pressure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
- Lead the external audit process and prepare annual financial statements.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance, providing insights for decision-making.
- Produce accurate financial and management reports with analysis and commentary.
- Maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- Partner with the business to drive value through sound financial insights.
Requirements : - CA(SA)
- At least 5 years experience reporting to a CFO in a multi-regional / group organisation.
- Strategic and operational involvement
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidated reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with SAP, Draftworx, and reporting platforms
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including financial modelling.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams.
