Job descriptionProcess daily, weekly and monthly accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL) Prepare and load weekly payments Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Maintain fixed asset register Assist with VAT and other statutory returns Support the month-end and year-end close process Assist in preparing financial reports and management accounts Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all transactions Provide general finance and administrative support as needed Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–2 years accounting experience (retail or FMCG experience is a plus) Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Basic knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, Pastel) Good understanding of South African tax regulations and VAT Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance team Strong communication skills A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
